First Dance Class

Just about as soon as I was able to walk, my mom put me in dance lessons that I took for 8 years. I was more into the acrobatics side of dance and standing on my head, so don't expect me to be the next dancing queen!

She shoots...and she scores!!

My dad knew I would be a threat to the sports world when I scored three goals in my first soccer game. Who wouldn't think this innocent face could be so confident on the field!?

Rising Competitive Gymnast

At 6 years old, just one year after my first gymnastics class, the owner of Pioneer Gymnastics awarded me my first medal in gymnastics when he offered me a spot on their competitive team.

"So you're coming out for the track team, right?!" At the time I was asked this question, I thought, "Absolutely not!" Little did I know I would go on to complete 3.5 years of high school track and become a Division I heptathlete!

First Official Day of Work

I loved helping out at the gym whenever I could. Birthday parties and fun nights started to be a regular weekend event. On my 15th birthday (as soon as I was allowed to) it was time to coach my first gymnastics class all by myself!

February 2013

My first trip overseas to Italy! Junior year of high school I decided I was going to take the trip with 21 other students that I had only known through passing. Our travel day landed on the same day as track championships. Talk about an adrenaline rush!

Mentoring Program

My strong interest in helping kids led me to become a student mentor at the elementary school I once attended. I couldn't get enough of this special experience, so in college I joined Big Brothers Big Sisters to mentor a female student for 3.5 years.

Honor's Overnight

Sleepover!! This is the night that I met some of the people I will be friends with forever, and the night that I realized Bryant was going to be my home for the next four years. I even had dinner at the president's house for the first time before I was even a student!

Pura Vida!

Possibly one of the most rewarding vacations I have taken to this day. I joined this group of people in volunteering at a less fortunate school, planted trees in a depleted area, and zip-lined through the highest points of Central America.

High School Graduation

Some would say they have never seen me so happy walking across the stage to receive my diploma from East Longmeadow High School. I was definitely excited and ready for my next chapter.
